Before you start
- Garry is off until an owner or admin turns it on.
- What each person can ask Garry depends on their role, and Garry only sees what that person is allowed to see.
- Garry uses Fuel from your plan. Check it in Settings, under Usage.
Turn Garry on
- As an owner or admin, open Settings, choose Garry and switch on Garry Features.
- Read the security and privacy note on the same page, so you can explain it to your team.
Ask a question
- On Home, type in Garry’s box. Be specific: a customer’s name, a project or a date helps.
- Prefer to talk? Select Talk to Garry.
- Use Attach files when a document or photo helps. Switch on Web when Garry may also search the web; with it off, answers come from your company’s own records and library.
- Check the answer against the records it points to, especially amounts, dates and recipients.
Let Garry do the legwork
- Garry can prepare things for you, such as a new client, project, company or note, project areas, a text or an email.
- Each one appears as a card. Nothing changes until you select Accept. Choose Deny to drop it.
- When Garry prepares several steps together, review them and select Approve all.
Good to know
- Your chats with Garry are your own. Others in your company, admins included, can’t open them.
- Garry doesn’t keep notes between conversations, so give it the context it needs each time.
- To answer, Garry sends your question and the records it needs to the AI services it runs on. Deleting a conversation removes it. Backup copies are kept for up to 7 days by our database host and up to 90 days off-site, then deleted.
- Garry can make mistakes. Double-check anything important before you act on it.
